Nick Horne

Group Chief Executive - Designate

Nick is an experienced Chief Executive with over 35 years’ experience in the commercial and not for profit sectors. Nick was CEO Knightstone, a south west based housing association from 1998 to 2018 and until August 2019 is an MBA student at the University of Exeter.

Nick brings a wealth of experience to the Group with a proven track record of delivering high end, customer focused services, improving business efficiency, value for money and community sustainability. Nick also has over 25 years governance experience and is passionate about delivering great services and championing customer interests using large scale change and systems thinking to improve service satisfaction & bottom line results.

Nick’s experience includes being a member of the Bristol Homes Board, a former member of the West of England Local Enterprise Partnership and a Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (The RSA) and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Nick is a recognised leader within the sector forging the way for transformational change and delivering positive outcomes for people and places. His leadership approach is strong and consistent delivering measurable results with integrity, maintaining his clear vision to create communities where people choose to live and work.

Susan Richardson

Executive Director of Resources

Susan has over 26 years' experience in the housing sector and has been at Parkway Green since it was formed in 2006. She started in housing in 1992 as an Assistant Housing Officer working in the Wythenshawe area and in 2009 she became the Assistant Director of Resources at Parkway Green Housing Trust.

Susan is a Chartered Member of the CIH and a Fellow of the Institute of Personnel and Development. She has experience in strategic human resource management, governance, communications/PR, performance improvement, the management of health and safety and delivering customer facing services.

Jacque Allen

Executive Director of Housing

Jacque has over 20 years’ experience of working in the housing sector, starting her career as a Housing Assistant in 1991. Since then Jacque has enjoyed a varied housing career from specialising in homelessness, through to all housing management, neighbourhoods and tenant involvement activities.

Jacque entered into her first senior management role as Head of Supported Housing in 2003 with a Manchester based stock transfer organisation and in 2010 achieved her first Director of Housing role with a housing association in the East Midlands.

Jacque is a CIH member, with a post graduate in Strategic Management and is a NLP Practitioner and Coach.

Richard Coughlan

Executive Director of Finance

Richard is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and has worked in the housing sector for over ten years. Richard has a wide range of financial and commercial experience gained working across a number of different sectors including banking, ICT and utilities.

Richard has been Director of Finance & Resources at Parkway Green since 2006 and was previously a Director of Finance for a Manchester based housing association. Richard has been involved with and led a number of change situations and in addition to finance has experience of running human resources, ICT and business support functions.

Paul Butterworth

Director of Assets

Paul has over 20 years’ experience in the housing and property sector. He graduated with an honours degree in Building Surveying before working across a number of surveying roles in housing and property management. He worked on housing stock transfer improvement programmes before specialising in a Leasehold and private sector team. Since 2005, Paul has worked in social housing maintenance and asset management.

Paul is a member of the RICS and joined Parkway Green Housing Trust in 2008 as Assistant Director of Property. Paul led on establishing an in-house building company, led on delivering the stock transfer improvement programme and led the development of new homes for the Trust. Paul is currently Director of Assets for WCHG and leads all asset, property, facilities and maintenance functions for the Group including the in-house building maintenance company.
